The Association will be holding a Ringing Festival on 5 October at Shipdham from 13:00.

The aim of the event is to encourage good striking, individual awareness of one’s striking and, above all, to encourage socialising and fun between towers and ringers.

This will consist of bands ringing on the bells of Shipdham looking to gain either:

• The Nolan Golden Rose Bowl
• The Call Change trophy
• The Novice Bands Trophy

The emphasis of this event will be on fun and striking. All Association ringers and towers are strongly encouraged to participate in this event. For more information about the day or to enter a team please contact our Ringing Master.

Please note : the main carpark is at the Thomas Bullock Primary School, Pound Green Lane IP25 7LF, an easy 10 minute walk from the church. Parking in the churchyard only for those unable to walk it please.

A traditional ringers tea running all afternoon alongside tea, coffee & soft drinks all in the church. Extra real ale being ordered for the weekend at the pub next door!

We would suggest a minimum donation of £1 per car parked at the school which we’ll pay to the Friends of Shipdham School (FOSS) as a thank you.
