Grimston
S Botolph
This pleasant ring of six was cast by Dobson of Downham Market in 1816 from a former ring of five, which in turn came from an earlier heavy ring of four the tenor of which had been recast into two trebles. Whitechapel re-tuned the bells in 1979 and lowered the frame in order to reduce stress on the tower which is 91 feet high. (Roger Peckham)
