The Council Review Action Group (or CRAG for short) of the CCCBR has launched a new survey which they would very much like all ringers to complete.
The Annual General Meetings of the Norwich Diocesan Association and of its Bell Restoration Fund will be held at Lophams Village Hall on Saturday, 06 May 2017 at 15h00.
Betty Baines reports that we made a profit of £920 on the Open Day. This will be divided equally between the Bell Restoration Fund and the Paul Cattermole Fund. She also wishes to pass on her thanks to everyone who helped on the day and to the church wardens and incumbents who allowed us to use their bells.
The CCCBR wants to encourage towers to register for Heritage Open days so they can reach their target of 500 churches open for ringing-related events and so that towers opening receive the support package from Heritage Open Days. Registration closes at the end of July and the sooner you register the better.

Our new President, Rev Paul Cubitt, the 18th since the Association was formed, tells us a little about himself and a little about how he see the Association and the challenges that will be faced during his term.
The 2016 Open Day on Saturday 27 August 2016 will take in towers across the diocese from East to West, starting in Great Yarmouth and finishing in Kings Lynn. This will be the final Open Day in the current series.
Bellringers have been invited by the BBC to take part in their Music Day on 03 June 2016 by ringing at 19h00 that day. The Central Council of Church Bell Ringers hopes there will be much coverage of ringing and do hope many bands will get in touch with the BBC to confirm they will be taking part.
